In 20 years, Jacky Calian, this Parisian trained with American Steve Zee, made Limoges the second tap center in France, after Montpellier. In his school, the courses are adapted to all with 5 levels: from the big beginner to the confirmed dancer for American or Irish tap. You can start typing from the age of 8, but you will have to take all the work of rythmique and positioning the body to wear the irons. On time, internships and shows allow to stay in different styles like that of Steven Harper. Jacky Calian conducts development courses to acquire the most famous chain of tap planet tap: the sham shim. One or two times a month, Saturday is reserved for improvisation courses, where everyone, whatever their level, leaves their imagination freely expressed. Every two years in June, the school organizes an international tap festival that arouses incredible excitement in the limousine capital: ovation for stars from all over the world.
