ISABELLE D’ESTRICHE DE BARACE & AGNES MURAIL
In 2010, the school left Avenue du Midi, close to the Opera Theatre and took possession of brand new premises. Two large rooms of 100 m 2 and 120 m 2 host classical dance courses. Children can attend courses at the age of 4. Then they are divided into classes of primary, elementary, medium and higher levels. Forced passage: the sessions where the spikes are working over an entire hour. For the most advanced, these are learning lessons that follow to keep your hand and not lose foot. From 14 years old, you can learn contemporary dance. The lessons are provided by Isabelle d'Estriché de Baracé, former dancer of the Théâtre de Bordeaux and professor since 1972, and by Agnès Murail, former soloist of the Capitol of Toulouse who has already had the opportunity to dance with great masters like Hans van Manen. To animate the internships, a new guest is invited each time. Already passed a professor at the Royal Madrid Conservatory, dancers from the Opéra-Théâtre de Paris, a student from the Bolshoi and Christian Poggioli, former dancer of Maurice Béjart.
