CONSERVATOIRE NATIONAL DE REGION
The activities of the Conservatory are now all grouped in the premises of Fitz-James Street with the exception of dance courses (in the Annexes Saint-Maurice and Mandonnaud). The Conservatory offers comprehensive curricula in its various departments. It will also learn the practice of string instruments, keyboards, wind, vocal techniques, scholarship and collective practices. Limoges was the first conservatory to open a section of traditional music. It teaches the chabrette, the bagpipe, the vielle, the Occitan… singing and dancing. Those who prefer will choose ancient music, with organ, harpsichord, recorder, lute. Also note, theatre learning within the drama class. The conservatory opens its doors to the general public for annual concerts, hearings and various events. Possibility of renting instruments.
