DIRECTION REGIONALE DE LA JEUNESSE, DES SPORTS ET DE LA COHESION SOCIALE (DRJSCS)

Since 1 January 2010, State services in the region have been reorganized. The DRJSCS thus brings together the former Regional Directorate for Health and Social Affairs (DRASS), the delegation of the Agency for Social Cohesion and Equal Opportunities (Acsé) and the late Regional Directorate for Youth and Sports (DRJS). Clearly, what does it mean? The new regional forum has a pilot role. It determines the actions to be put in place and financed in social matters, sports, youth, community life, and also to combat discrimination. DRJSCS is also the interlocutor to spend its state diplomas in the social and paramedical professions, in sport (state patents), as well as in animation (the indispensable BAFA to supervise groups of children).
