L'ÉCHO
Created in 1943 and initially clandestine, the Communist newspaper, L'Echo, became independent while displaying its preferences. With La Marseillaise, it remains one of the last representatives of a disappeared Communist press. Echo appears in Limousin, but also in the Indre and Dordogne. The pages of this daily have taken on colours over time. Its journalists and photographers continue, producing one of the only two local dailies in Limousin, guaranteeing a certain pluralism of local information. Regional and national information, including day, culture, sports, etc., until the last echo, emphasise social injustices and give voice to readers. The illustrations of Placide Dessinateur also comment on some of the news.
