CITY HALL
Built from 1878 to 1883 on the plans of architect Charles-Alfred Leclerc, this majestic building is inspired by Paris city hall. Its ornate facade has the same Renaissance influence. The building is surmounted by a campanile that is 43 metres away. The four medallions in Venetian mosaic adorn the facade, each representing a famous Limougeaud (Vergniaud, Léonard Limosin, Jourdan and Aguesseau). If one enters the beautiful central staircase the bust of Alfred Fournier, the donor who helped finance the building. In front of the monument, a small square organized around another remarkable achievement: a fountain of granite, bronze and ceramic fire. It has two washbasins, four skid and stone lions. A subscription was launched in the fall of 2015 for the restoration of the building.

Le mieux pour voir la mairie est la période des fêtes de fin d'année, où elle s'orne de mille couleurs et lumières! Féérique!
