Come and fill up on good produce and enjoy this small medieval town. Every Friday morning in July and August, Mortemart hosts a country market in the 17th-century covered market hall. Already in the past, it was a meeting place for crafts and fairs. Today, under its chestnut roof structure, it hosts a year-round antique fair, a plant festival in April (alternating with Nexon) and an apple and fruit tree festival in November.
