THE CHÂTEAU DE NIEUL
The château has a children's room and a library available for loan
The chateau is set against the backdrop of its pond, providing a beautiful backdrop for passers-by. Originally a medieval fortress, its presence is attested as early as the 11th century. Completely rebuilt in the 15th century, only part of the original structure remains. You can admire its reused stained glass windows of Flemish and Germanic origin and its sculpted fireplaces. The second floor houses the Georges Emmanuel Clancier library and a children's room, while the second floor is used as an exhibition space. The château's landscaped grounds are one of the stopping-off points for the Coquelicontes festival.
