Located near a hiking path, 200 metres from the famous Lacroix site, the Grosse Pierre site is reported by a panel, because it is sheltered under the trees, along a field. Made of three huge slabs (two pillars and a gneiss cover table), the interior welcomed a burial chamber, which left only the ground and some objects accompanying the dead, found following excavations. About this dolmen, several legends are going on. One of them said that the stone was haunted by a huge snake whose tail rested on one of the pillars, while the head hid on the other side of the road, a beautiful beast, about eight metres long!
