THE HOUSE OF MILLS
Maison in Peyrat-le-Château, exhibiting 15 large 1/10-scale models of mills from bygone days, including a noria
On the banks of the Maulde, in a former mill, 15 large 1/10-scale models of mills from bygone days are on display, including a 3rd-century noria (a reproduction of the one at Hama, on the Orontes in Syria). Made of local stone, wood and iron, these marvels have been skilfully constructed by Jean-Claude Mareau, who comments on the tour with passion. Flour mills, paper mills, hydraulic sawmills dating from the 14th century, with their wheels, millstones and gears driven by the force of water... A fascinating tour that helps you understand all mill mechanisms.

Outrageous price from €6, do not want to even make price despite the guided tour which was not any more.
I strongly not this visit.
As much to visit a mill a member of the association of mills that will be happy to visit its mill without need to pay...(even if the room is normal)
