A charming village in a grandiose environment with a remarkable peat bog. To get there, you have the choice between the path of the poets and the path of the mills, starting from Peyrat-le-Château. This picturesque and preserved village is the highest in the Haute-Vienne. The houses are made of cut granite. You can discover the fountain and its wash-house, bread ovens, the retting tank for hemp, the "Bac à la Cube" which according to the legend would have been used as a bathtub by Julius Caesar. Climb up to the tumulus which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area.
