MUSTIER COLLEGIATE CHURCH
The collegiate church of Le Moustier, dating from the century, bears witness to the power of the local chapter of canons.
A flamboyant vestige that bears witness to the power of the chapter of local canons, the building dates from the 12th century. The Romanesque bell tower and porch date from this period. In the 13th century, the canons turned it into a semi-cathedral, whose imposing silhouette stands at the top of the "enclosure". The interior space is striking in its majesty. On the right, in a niche of the nave, the treasure contains some interesting pieces: a Eucharistic dove (13th century), a reliquary head of Saint Arédius, in embossed silver, a shrine in enamelled copper and reliquaries.
