GAEC D'ATTON
Located between Metz and Nancy, in Atton, Lorraine, EARL d'Atton is a traditional Limousin meat farm. For over 150 years, the Schmitt family has been raising Limousin cows with respect for the environment and animal welfare. The herd includes 65 suckling mothers and up to 200 animals in total. The animals are fed exclusively on grass, hay, silage and cereals produced on the farm. For more than half the year, they are raised outdoors in the pastures. Calving takes place in autumn and winter, and the animals are brought together in a new straw-bedded barn that respects animal welfare conditions. The farm is regularly represented in regional competitions thanks to its recognized know-how and the quality of its animals. EARL d'Atton products are sold direct, with a "Blason Prestige" red label. An artisan butcher cuts the meat according to the rules of the art, and packages are prepared the same day to preserve the freshness of the products.
