This church built between 1954 and 1957 by the architect Nicolas Kazis, is a jewel of modern art of the century

The church built between 1953 and 1957 is a pure jewel of the 20th century and reflects modern art in all its splendor. It was designed by the architect Nicolas Kazis. Built on the ruins of the old church which was destroyed in 1944, the silhouette of the building is reminiscent of Noah's ark! Once past the porch, the interior is awe-inspiring. The luminous decoration of the "testimonial group" in Baccarat tiles is composed of 20,000 pieces of crystal set in concrete.

Wenn man schon die Glasaustellung ganz in der Nähe gesehen hat, muss man unbedingt noch in diese Kirche. Wunderbar bunte Lichteffekte, insbesondere wenn die Sonne scheint. Und für einmal wurde hier Sichtbeton so verarbeitet, dass es einem nicht kalt den Rücken hinunter fährt.

Présent pour la messe des rameaux, beaucoup de monde (mais aussi de vent et de fraîcheur). L'église est originale mais un peu sombre malgré tout (surtout sans soleil dehors). Il manque 1 accès handicapés car c'est bien de vouloir nous faire monter au 7ème ciel mais ça fait 7 marches à franchir... seul bémol mais de taille avec des personnes âgées.

J'ai voulu rentrer dans cette église par hasard car l'extérieur était curieux, qu'elle surprise l'intérieur est magnifique c'est vraiment un chef d'oeuvre.
Un plaisir de découvrir des pépites comme ça en France.

Église très originale, bel exercice d'architecture. A visiter lorsqu'il y a du soleil pour apprécier pleinement les cristaux qui servent de vitraux, cela donne une ambiance surprenante.
Même les bénitiers sont en cristal.
