MIRABELLE ET TARENTELLE
Restaurant with terrace offering southern Italian dishes
Between France and Italy, the hearts of Adeline and Mimmo Capone sway. So to put everyone in agreement, their restaurant offers cuisine from both countries... Yes, here we celebrate the astonishing combination of mirabelle plum and tarantella! While Monsieur's restaurant cooks more particularly dishes from the south of Italy, such as frittini, fresh homemade pasta, involtini or panacotta, Madame's influences lead us more towards trout with Toul grey or duck aiguillettes with blueberries. The combination of the two sometimes results in more surprising dishes, such as the chaud-froid badonvillois, a dessert where a bergamot macaroon is flavoured with a limoncello cream. The meat is mainly from Lorraine and local cheeses such as the old meadow or the tomme de Pierre-Percée are part of the food cooked or proposed à la carte. The restaurant seats 60 people in the dining room and about 20 on the terrace. An Italian-style welcome, i.e. convivial and family where the fusion of two gastronomic cultures is particularly successful.
