ST. MAURICE CHURCH
A neo-Gothic ogival church with rich furnishings, including a superb pulpit and baroque confessionals
This ogival church dating from 1852 is in neo-gothic style and houses rich furnishings: a superb pulpit and two baroque confessionals, from the abbey of Domèvre-sur-Vezouze, as well as an organ dating from the 18th century. This beautiful instrument, the work of Jean Adam Dingler, underwent several transformations before being restored in the 2000s by the Alfred Kern & Fils factory. It has 28 stops, three manuals and a pedalboard. The choir and the transept of the church were also restored in 2007 and in 2013, the nave regained its original beautiful pink colors, since it was built in pink Vosges sandstone. You can find the schedule of the celebrations on the website www.catholique-nancy.fr/blamontois.
