LE CRICKET
Located on the heights of Nancy, 2 km from Physico Hospital, this restaurant was taken up last September by Lionnel Tonini a friendly young chef. The décor consists of the entrance of a lounge area and two bright rooms, one of which, thanks to its large windows, has a superb panoramic view of the Chavigny valley, which alone deserves a detour. The style that the masters of the places have printed in their establishment speaks of them. The space is wide between nicely prepared tables. At the walls, between the beams, very beautiful and colourful paintings bring to the whole a beautiful harmony. The rediscovery of this restaurant is a great surprise. We were curious to discover the cuisine of this young chef. We have been enchanted by confrontation. The homemade fat liver and its cinnamon apple compote are very good. On the flat, the plate is generous, the 3 beautiful slices of calf nuts which make the dish tender are tender to wish and accompany delicate vegetables as well. The eye is flattered, the need of the papillae to be cajolées, satisfied. The dessert, vanilla ice cream, meets our expectations perfectly. Another example is that this autumn, the card proposes, among other things, veal from calf to old mustard, and duck magret to honey at reasonable rates. A sign that does not fool, in one month the clientele has returned, the room is full, the attentive room staff is active, not a sensation of lost time between the dishes. We recommend this restaurant for its excellent value for money. This is a leader who deserves success and we are convinced that success will often lead to the door of its establishment.
