A tour to explore Deneuvre, which was one of the most important seigneuries of the Lunévillois region, as well as its narrow streets.

Discover Deneuvre on this trail with panels on local history. You will pass through small medieval alleys, which draw their interest from the past presence of an imposing fortress. It must be said that, contrary to appearances, Deneuvre was one of the most important lordships of the Pays du Lunévillois, and this since 1342. Part of the fortifications were destroyed following the French siege of 1632, which allowed Baccarat to gain the upper hand over Deneuvre in terms of influence. But another part of these fortifications remains visible. Walking along the ramparts, it is possible to admire the old tower of Voués, that of Bacha as well as the locations of the old moat of the castle. You can also see the site where the sanctuary of Hercules was discovered. The walk, which lasts about an hour, is bucolic, peaceful, instructive and for everyone. You can ask for a detailed description of the walk at the Tourist Office.
