LES MARIONNETTES DE LA PEPINIERE
The public is known as Guignol de la Pépinière. Yet the little theatre of sheet and wood has nothing to do with lyon puppets. Philippe Mercy, an intermittent show, creates his own texts, inspired by legends from the Americas, Japan and the vast world in general. He uses the puppets of his own invention to give body and soul to delusions that call for reflection and are not afraid to address topical themes or themes whose subject runs through time and history. A new story is created every days. So it is at a steady pace that the artist works. But it is well rewarded since the 300 places, yet not so comfortable, are being stormed. This is the order of triumph and it is regrettable that, faced with so much talent, theatre is not a little more taken into account by the competent authorities. And just a little more comfortable, like Magic Mirrors, for example. To add to magic.
