Alsatian restaurant-winstub near a tram stop.

This Alsatian winstub is historic in Illkirch. Moreover, the name "Tankstell" comes from the petrol pumps that were installed along the pavement before the Second World War. The owner of the time skillfully served both drink and fuel to Illkirchois and transients. The establishment has been completely renovated. Personnel sympa, un serveur qui prends les commandes et un qui ramène les plats, à la fin c'est l'embrouille. Pour les boissons de l'apéro, rien à dire, le serveur était présent, par après on commande 2 bières, qui ne sont jamais arrivées, du coup on est passé au café. Le service était plus concentré sur la table de derrière nous. Pour une1ère fois, à 4 personnes, on n'aurait préféré être dans la salle principale, on n'était dans l'arrière salle. Lorsqu'on est sorti il y avait, bien, une table non occupée de 4, dans la salle principale. Les tartes flambées gratinées, le gruyère à peine fondu et les autres, les oignons pas assez cuit et la crème sans plus. La tarte maison, la pâte pas assez cuite. On a encore été sympa à prendre des cafés.
