Historiaphil is a stamp store located in Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Founded in 1946 by Paul Staedel, a former Resistance fighter with a passion for philately, Historiaphil offers a wide selection of history-related stamps. The store specializes in "Witness to History" philatelic envelopes, commemorating the parliamentary sessions of the Council of Europe and the European Parliament. For over 70 years, three generations of the Staedel family have contributed to the creation of these unique "First Day" envelopes, covering themes such as geopolitical Europe, crises and conflicts, celebrities, aeronautics and space. Historiaphil is a member of the CNEP (Chambre syndicale française des Négociants et Experts en Philatélie) and the AIJP (Association Internationale des Journalistes Philatéliques).
