FERME DE LA CROISETTE
Are you fond of foie gras and you want to make it yourself? No problem, just follow the course offered by Olivier Haye in his farm located not far from the hill of Sion. During one day, he will assist you in the elaboration of your foie gras, which you will make from A to Z, from a duck reared on the spot that he will provide you with. A very original way to discover the know-how and the good products of this breeding of white geese and Barbary ducks. You will be able to visit the laboratory, the force-feeding workshop and the slaughterhouse, but above all you will be able to taste its excellent products: in addition to the whole foie gras prepared on the spot, there are traditional preserves and smoked duck breasts with mirabelle plums. On reservation, farmhouse snacks and catering for groups are also possible. The farm has the label Saveurs Paysannes de Meurthe-et-Moselle.
