Inn at the gates of Laxou offering a cuisine according to the seasons and dishes with fresh products
This inn, located at the gates of the city, offers a generous, seasonal cuisine in a very rustic setting. The terrace, in summer, is on the roadside but its occupants are not too bothered by noise or exhaust fumes. A large car park next door makes it easy to park, especially if you are coming from Toul as it is inaccessible from Nancy and you have to park on the other side of the road. One will just deplore the size of the parts, and especially the trim, perhaps a little reduced compared to the price. But the food remains succulent, and we recommend it! Especially on Friday night, when you can enjoy a concert. Foie gras, baked marrow bones, rosti, tartes flambées, scallop and salmon tartar, veal kidneys... The establishment has been awarded the "Maître Restaurateur" label by the Prefecture on the basis of strict criteria. All the dishes are cooked with fresh products. You can also order homemade foie gras from 100 g (vacuum-packed), directly from the restaurant.

On peut manger sur la terrasse et il est surprenant de n'être pas plus gêné par le bruit des voitures. Le service a été rapide, c’était un déjeuner et il y avait pourtant du monde. J'ai pris le plat du jour et j'ai eu l'impression d'être bien mieux servi que mes amis avec leurs plats issus de la carte. Prix un peu élevés à mon gout.
A record we stay total satisfaction of more than 95%. As for our staff room, the satisfaction of our guests are 100%. We are evaluated by our guests and a specialised company. We obtained in November 2011 the Maître Restaurateur label awarded by the Prefecture on strict standards. We are, date, 3000 restaurateur in France to have been this coveted title. All dishes are cooked with fresh ingredients, none of our dishes is not prepared in an industrial. Our meat is French and first choice.
You were not satisfied. We are sorry. As in all things, there is always the exception.

Menu very sparse and rupture on 2 of the 4 cooked dishes... (it will be tartiflette or kidneys... a little as choice!).
Meat cooked over a wood fire, ordered bleeding arrive too cooked (and too expensive for its quality).
No choice of any filling: it will be fried or nothing... and it is not even indicated on the menu! as a sauce... you to have should not dream...
Rates are prohibitory: 19.50 for a meat too cooked with a French fry packed lunch has to be divided has three... it is expensive; the same for the desserts: €7.50 For a Rhubarb crumble it is 80% more expensive than in the excellent pastry chef from the city centre (including do is the trade!).
In short: escape!
