LENONCOURT CASTLE
This castle, located in a vast park, houses a collection of war machines and fireplaces
This castle belonged to the de Lenoncourt family who played a leading role in the history of the Duchy of Lorraine. This family was first called Nancy, then Lenoncourt in the 14th century. Situated in a vast park, it was built at the end of the 13th century and redesigned in the 16th and 17th centuries. The castle has a collection of war machines and chimney blocks and is especially worth a visit for its two large round towers. For reasons of restoration and a succession procedure, this historical monument is for the moment impossible to visit.
