THE CORBIN CASTLE
Castle built in 1837 on the ramparts of the medieval city, sheltering a media library in the round tower in Liverdun.
Built in 1837 on the ramparts of the medieval city, the castle Corbin, with its Renaissance facade stands between two towers: the tower of the Cagnotte and the tower of the High Seat. Bought in 1891 by Antoine Corbin, it suffered a fire in 1904 and was renovated from 1997 to 2005 by the architect Sylvain Gacomazzi. It now houses a media library in the round tower, as well as temporary exhibitions and performances in the Galileo Room. The adjacent park allows you to admire a part of the Moselle loop as well as the Eaux Bleues domain.
