Place with a fountain with octagonal post and endowed with statuettes of the Middle Ages, situated in the heart of the village of Liverdun.
In the heart of the village is the Place de la Fontaine. It had a covered market in the 16th century. The fountain with an octagonal bollard, once fed by a spring, and its troughs arranged in cloverleaf form date from 1851. They are signed Genoy, architect from Nancy, except for the lantern, added later. The water point is the main curiosity of the square. This one presents many corner niches sheltering statuettes of the Middle Ages classified as Historic Monuments. As for the facades of the houses with arcades, they date from the 15th and 16th centuries. So come and refresh yourself during the summer period.
