MAISON JORY
Small restaurant located near the Château des Lumières offering fresh homemade products
A family business as we like! The Jory house has indeed a great team: Eric, the dad is in the kitchens, the mom welcomes guests with their daughter Manon, graduated in Hotel and Restaurant Management. This small restaurant located not far from the castle of Lumières is worthing the detour and the clientele makes no mistake about it. It is indeed highly advised to book if you hope to have a seat, especially since the establishment is also tea room, things become rare and yet very popular. With its success, the restaurant that could only accommodate 22 guests, has just completed expansion works and can acquire 20 additional seats on the first floor. The homemade fresh productsare declined around fresh pasta, various fish of the day, meats and salads of course, but especially delicious desserts - tearoom obliges - such as cake with cottage cheese, Bavarian multifruits or delicious Paris-Brest. Note that the à la carte, although small, changes every Wednesday and Saturday, which provides us each time new succulent and tasty surprises!
