CONSERVATOIRE DES BRODERIES DE LUNEVILLE
Conservatory working to promote the embroidery of Lunéville, dating from the 19th century, thematic exhibitions organized
Since its creation in 1998, the Conservatoire des Broderies de Lunéville has been celebrating a precious heritage dating back to the 19th century: Lunéville embroidery. Originally intended to imitate the lace of Bruges and Venice, the "Lunéville stitch" technique became popular, making embroidery the town's flagship activity. Today, the Conservatoire brings these traditions back to life with themed exhibitions, an embroidery school and introductions to the art.
