Restaurant with terrace, located in Dax, offering generous, appetizing and well-dressed Italian recipes

There's not a lot of Italy at Mama Cucini... Roasted Camembert, Southwest foie gras, Landaise salad, crispy chicken poké bowl, xipirons a la plancha, matured entrecôte, moules marinières... From the days of former chef Florian Benyamina, perhaps the only thing left is the Label Rouge ribs served with a Lousianne sauce. Otherwise, there's burrata for starters, risotto and ravioli for main courses, and panna cottas and tiramisu for dessert. Lunch is served either inside or on the terrace overlooking Place Thiers.

Bon produits, excellent accueil, service impeccable et rapide. Les serveurs sont souriants et attentifs. Très bon rapport qualité prix, on recommande les yeux fermés !

Décevant…
Salades landaises huileuses qui nous sont restées sur l’estomac.
C’est dommage. C’était notre première et dernière fois dans ce restaurant attrape touristes.
Service très agréable, ce qui réhausse un peu la note.

Nous avons passé un bon moment chez Mama Cucini, un bon repas nous à été servi. Le seul point négatif était les moules marinières qui malheureusement était trop neutre sans trop de goût, pas d’échalote ou autre.
A part cela le service était au top, le personnel accueillant et une bonne ambiance.
