The Dax Town Hall is accessible from the rue Saint-Pierre, but also from the gardens where citizens' gatherings and events take place throughout the year. The Max Moras square is home to the war memorial and sculptures by Monette Loza. The town has been twinned with Logroño, in Spain, since 1963. The Feria kicks off on the square in front of the Town Hall, when the Mayor hands over the keys to the town to the young people.
