At Balme, truffles have been a family tradition for over a century in the Vaucluse region. Maison Balme was created in 2013 when Thomas Balme and Mikel Poueyts decided to combine Provencal truffles with Basque gastronomy. In Dax, as in Biarritz, Anglet or Bordeaux, push open the doors of Les Halles to discover the Maison's delicious specialties: fresh truffles, parmesan cream with truffles and other condiments, charcuterie and truffle preserves. There's even a duck corner and plenty of gift ideas! You can eat on site.
