FERME ESPAOUNIC
Valérie, Eric and Julien Lafenêtre welcome you on their farm from Espaouinic, between Hagetmau and Maylis. They raised ducks in freedom and received medals at the general agricultural competition in Paris, with a gold medal in 2011 for the whole foie gras of canned duck and a bronze medal the same year for the semi-baked foie gras. They mainly sell on their farms and markets. If you go to the farm, you can discover their range of whole fatty livers (500 g jar: 50 €), cuits (200 g jar: 22 €), blocks, and their specialty: the mid-baked whole foie on its fig bed!
