Romanesque church with a basical plan with three vessels, without transept in Mont-Saint-Martin

The path to this Romanesque church, built more than ten centuries ago, is not the easiest, but it is worth the effort! The building has a basical plan with three vessels, without transept. On the capitals, decorated with interlacing plants and floral motifs, a grotesque figure with a buffoonish face and a disproportionate body is mocking. The choir is nicely decorated by two frescos: one representing the Annunciation, the other Saint Martin. Various cultural events and art exhibitions are organized throughout the year.

It is not very large not intimidating by its size but well by its age and its unique atmosphere that is particularly well themselves to exhibitions of art. the way to get there is not the easiest, it is worth itself!
