ROMANIC CHURCH
Romanesque church with a basical plan with three vessels, without transept in Mont-Saint-Martin
The path to this Romanesque church, built more than ten centuries ago, is not the easiest, but it is worth the effort! The building has a basical plan with three vessels, without transept. On the capitals, decorated with interlacing plants and floral motifs, a grotesque figure with a buffoonish face and a disproportionate body is mocking. The choir is nicely decorated by two frescos: one representing the Annunciation, the other Saint Martin. Various cultural events and art exhibitions are organized throughout the year.
