Restaurant with a Parisian atmosphere offering seasonal dishes with an excellent quality-price ratio
The restaurant le Local is "the Parisian bistro of Nancy": a Parisian atmosphere and a Lyonnais "bouchon", tightly packed tables, small checkered tablecloths (a nod to Alsace), murals and a relaxed welcome. The menu is modest but well thought out and changes every three months to concoct seasonal dishes and recipes that hark back to the family cuisine of yesteryear. Simple but tasty, with an excellent quality-price ratio. Burgers for eaters. Plus, all dishes can be taken to work or home. We love it!

Unpretentious, honest, authentic French bistro food. Small, cosy dining room. It's getting harder and harder to find food like this. Don't expect printed menus. Everything is listed on blackboards. We ate chicken, beef, trout, ox tongue and veal, and everything was well presented and delicious. Great side dishes of hand made frites and baked vegetables. Would not hesitate to go back.
