BAR DES CARMES

In the Rue des Carmes, you'll find the Bar des Carmes, a place that's not lacking in charm and authenticity. Behind a narrow wooden façade with an old-fashioned sign, you'll find this bar (the oldest in Nancy - 180 years old!), all in one long stretch. Although very photogenic, this bar has retained all its soul: inside, wood panelling and comfortable red chairs. You can sit at the counter or at a table to enjoy a kir or a draught beer. At lunchtime, you can enjoy daily specials or sandwiches concocted by the friendly manager.
