WHEEL SPIRIT ROLLER DERBY

The least we can say is that these girls have it under their helmets! While roller derby has been a very popular sport in the United States since the early 2000s, the Nancy-based club was founded in November 2010 by three friends who love rollerblading and contact sports. Almost ten years later, the association is still here, and so are the girls, their skates, their outfits and their crazy names! And while you don't have to be afraid of bruises to join the team, you do need a good dose of second degree and a punk spirit to fit in. As you'll have gathered, the Wheel Spirits are a lovely family of crazy girls, ready to do battle with the other girls in (inter)national competitions... It's not funny, is it? On the contrary, it's a lot of fun!
