NOTRE-DAME DE BONSECOURS CHURCH
This church was used to pay tribute to the victims and was dedicated to Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours
A chapel and hermitage created in 1484 following René II's victory over Charles the Bold at the Battle of Nancy, the site was transformed into a church to pay tribute to the victims, and was dedicated to Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours, patron saint of Lorraine. In 1738, Stanislas Leczinski had the building completely rebuilt by Emmanuel Héré. Inside, the king's Polish soul is transcribed in a baroque style, watching over the royal family who rest there.
