Garden located next to the Place Stanislas, offering walkers horticultural collections of plants for ornamental purposes

Located next to the Place Stanislas, behind the present Aquarium Museum, it was founded by Stanislas in 1758. In 1993, it lost its botanical vocation to the Jardin du Montet, and took its current name in tribute to the man who directed the garden during the second half of the 19th century. Labelled as a remarkable garden since 2010, it now offers walkers horticultural collections of plants intended for floral decoration as well as a rich collection of trees.

Ce jardin présente une belle diversité: nénuphars, plantes grasses, graminées, chardons, etc. Le choix de plantes permet un joli aspect malgré les chaleurs. Les écureuils y sont heureux. Le visiteur peut se poser à divers endroits. C'est très propre et serein.

Un jardin historique de Nancy situé près de la place Stanislas. Outre la quiétude qu’il peut offrir en cœur de ville, ce site a depuis longtemps une vocation pédagogique. Il est aussi et désormais un exemple remarquable d’adaptation aux changements climatiques avec des variétés peu gourmandes en eau et résistantes à la sécheresse.
