CONFISERIE LEFEVRE-LEMOINE
Opposite the Excelsior and next to the Place Thiers, it is hard to miss this eye-catching shop. It is part of the architectural heritage of the city and reminds one of those immutable buildings over which time has no control. A family home since 1840 which has been an integral part of the town, you only have to look at the window for a few seconds to realise that you are dealing with a real shop in Nancy: macaroons, bergamots, Lorraine thistles, all sorts of products made from mirabelle plums... But it's not only the sweets that remind us of the region. One can indeed settle down in the tea room and admire the credenzas loaded with dishes from Lunéville, the furniture from Lorraine, the pretty glass paste lamps inspired by Art Nouveau... The presentation of the local specialities is in any case original and the saleswomen are smiling and friendly. An address a little out of time, that we would like to never see disappear. You can now order directly on the site but the visit of this museum-shop remains unchanged.
