One of the oldest squares in Pont-à-Mousson, a lively place hosting the market and the crossroads of arts and antiques.
It is one of the oldest squares in Pont-à-Mousson. Formerly called Atrée Saint-Antoine, under the Revolution, the square was created in the 13th century, when the town was founded by Thibaut II. It was occupied by the Notre-Dame Hospital, run by secular priests and then by the Antonists. As time went by, it grew in size. It has remained a very lively place, and every Saturday it hosts the market as well as the crossroads of arts and antiques. A visit is a must!
