THE STORK ENCLOSURE
Enclosure to see over a hundred storks fed daily at Saint-Nicolas-de-Port
More than a hundred white storks can be seen in the enclosure, but also in nests atop masts specially installed by the municipality, as well as atop chimneys, public lighting poles and trees. A real success story. The storks are ringed, but left to their own devices. They are fed daily. The 600 m² open-air enclosure offers optimal conditions for the birds' life in captivity. The ideal place to admire these imposing protected birds, which are one of the symbols of the region.
