OFFICE DE TOURISME MAISON DU GABARDAN
Tourist office in a half-timbered building, offering maps for hiking and mountain biking in the Gabardan
The house that hosts the tourist office has an eventful history behind it. Dating back to 1456, it is one of the few monuments to have survived the Wars of Religion. Renovated by local craftsmen, the tourism office has set up a charming shop. This half-timbered building and terracotta briquettes, the Maison du Gabardan, is the showcase of local craftsmanship: local products, foie gras, confit, floc, armagnac, local wine, cassoulet... Temporary exhibitions of artists, sculptors, painters, etc. The tourist office offers maps for hiking and mountain biking in the Gabardan and numerous tourist tours to discover the Landes d'Armagnac as well as itineraries with multiple activities on the Voie Verte du Marsan and Armagnac. In Gabarret, the market takes place on Sunday mornings from 8 am to 12 pm and on Wednesday afternoons in summer.
