This church located on the hill of Sion has a huge tower of 45 m topped by a Virgin of 7 m and 8 tons
Several periods were necessary to completely build this church located on the hill of Sion. The work began in the 10th century. An immense tower of 45 m surmounted by a Virgin of 7 m and 8 tons (melted in the workshops of Vaucouleurs) is born in 1870. It is one of the largest pilgrimages in Lorraine, welcoming international religious communities, also a symbol of Franco-German reconciliation. A magnificent monument, full of history.

Je me suis sentie légère et très calme heureuse, j'étais avec mes tante et oncle Hess.A l'époque on n'avait pas de téléphone portable,donc pas de photos c'est dommage. J'ai pas de souvenir que l'on payé,on m'étais des cierges dans l'église et on en ramener pour la famille et les amis. Je pense remonter cette année 2024, cela sera mon pélerinage. A moins que l'ainé, veuille venir avec pendant les vacances scolaires.
