NATIONAL SCOUT MUSEUM
National Scouting Museum, collecting objects, such as badges, documents, books, magazines, photos
The Baden Powel network is the master builder and owner of the objects in this museum. Although it is 100 years old, scouting is still a very lively movement. Marshal Lyautey was honorary president of all French scouting. The museum welcomes "scout" training courses that wish to organise activities and camps. Located in a wing of Château Lyautey, the museum collects and preserves everything that has been created in Scouting: badges, documents, books, magazines, photos, watercolours, posters, models, totem poles, etc. A room reconstituting a patrol corner; a Gilbert Anscieau room, a room for the work of a national nature team.
