This museum dating from 1872 opens its 25 rooms on the history of the city of Toul under different aspects: we admire archaeological collections, relics, tapestries of Flanders, liturgical ornaments. The Louis XVI room presents various paintings as well as earthenware stoves from Toul-Bellevue. Popular art, local traditions, craft workshops, contemporary art are also exhibited. Plus de 2h de visite, une collection de faïences très riche. Ce musée réunit plusieurs thèmes qui permet à chacun d'être satisfait. Ce qui nous a aussi plu c'est surtout la disponibilité à l'accueil, nous avons échangé longuement et avons constaté que l'histoire de ce musée est incroyable.

Unbedingt ansehen, Eintritt gratis. Ein außerordentlich erstaunliches Museum mit vielen interessanten Exponaten aus allen Epochen. Fachkundig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich.
