DOWNTOWN WALK
Old town of Toul is a must to visit, for all architecture lovers, from Gothic to Renaissance
The old town is worth a visit and will appeal to architecture buffs interested in the Gothic and Renaissance periods. Let's mention the Majorelle high school, set up by the King of France in 1552, until the Revolution, and whose tower dates from the 15th century. The old Pimodan hotel, the Saint-Esprit hospital or the café des comédiens offer remarkable architectural elements. Rue Michâtel, the Bossuet house presents its gargoyles and its beautiful Renaissance facade. We close the stroll by admiring the yellow and blue facade of the Pavillon Bleu which dates from the 19th century.
