On the D613, take the D130 towards Les Baroches. 100 m on the right, after the car park and picnic area, a maintained Soviet necropolis is the last resting place of the Soviet soldiers who died in captivity between 1941 and 1945. About 100 white crosses are marked with the surnames and first names of the men "who died for the Fatherland" and the date of their death, when it was known. Another has no identity, he is the only one in the camp, and is designated only by his serial number 19. 729. Finally, others are designated only by their date of birth. In front of this row of tombs is erected a modern monument, composed of three giant statues, symbolically linked by arms, a bronze work by A. Zannoni. A magical work. Three men with hollow bellies, welded to each other, expressing solidarity and the hope of seeing their country again, pointed in the direction of the outstretched arm. On the granite, an inscription "Lorraine grateful to the Soviet soldiers who died in captivity". On the ground, a cup, to light the flame of remembrance once a year. It is here a duty of remembrance maintained for the generations of today and tomorrow ...
