ST. SYMPHORIAN PARISH CHURCH
This neo-gothic style building erected in the 19th century is worth seeing
Xivry-Circourt is a small, little-known village in Lorraine with 272 inhabitants (2017). And yet, if you are in the area, the Saint-Symphorien parish church is worth seeing! Erected in the 19th century, this neo-Gothic style building with a slate roof has Romanesque influences, as can be seen in the twin bays and the two Lombard bands of the bell tower. Its singular volume and its massive silhouette denote a village church! The external buttresses supporting the nave accentuate the overall impression of monumentality.
