NOTRE DAME CHURCH
Church with blind arcatures from the end of the 12th century
The church features late 12th-century blind arcatures, chapels and a heart with a 13th-century pentagonal apse. The nave is a blend of Romanesque and Gothic. The bell tower and classical west facade date from the 18th century. The furnishings include a number of 16th-century pieces, such as the Vierge des Litanies attributed to J. Crocq, the Descente de Croix and the Vanité au Miroir. The altarpiece of St Vincent dates from the 18th century, as do paintings by L. Yard such as Christ Healing the Sick and the Annunciation. The great 19th-century organ is a testament to Romanticism in the Meuse region.
