Castle with park, combining Renaissance and Louis XIV styles and techniques inspired by Eiffel, the HQ of Marshal Pétain in 14-18
Luxurious building (1903-1905) of the Belle Époque, set in a superb park. Work of the Barisian architect J. Renard, mixing Renaissance and Louis XIV styles as well as techniques borrowed from G. Eiffel. The great hall is decorated with walnut woodwork and green marble. It leads to the reception rooms and the winter garden. Thefirst one is distinguished by its balustrade decorated with wrought iron flowers. On thesecond, a terrace with two glass windows. The site was the headquarters of Marshal Pétain in 14-18.
